Is Internet access available?

Yes, we have free WIFI around camp. Speeds and reliability may vary.

Do cell phones work at camp?

Only Verizon works at this time. AT&T is coming sometime soon

Is a deposit required to reserve Camp Chinquapin?

Yes, there is a $500 deposit required for groups in the booking process.

Are we required to have meals?

No, we have a few groups that do their own food cooking over the fire and grilling in the picnic area.

Is there a minimum number of guests

Groups as small as 15 and as large as 160 are welcome at Camp Chinquapin. The minimum number of guests required is set by the Camp Director and Group Leader before a contract is drafted.

How many people can we bring?

We sleep 115 in cabins. Additional guests can bring tents or RVs and stay in our available sites. The maximum number of guests allowed is set by the Camp Director and Group Leader before a contract is drafted.

Can I rent a cabin, tent, or RV spot with my family?

Yes, we offer specific times for individual families to come and enjoy camp.  Contact us if you have a specific date request or go through our Overnight Options page.

Can people come who are not part of CrossPoint Community Church?

Yes, all churches and groups promoting the cause of Christ are welcome to program camps and conferences of their own here at Camp Chinquapin.

Will we be sharing camp with other groups?

Groups enjoy exclusive use of our facility regardless of size.

How many cabins can our group use?

Each group has the use of any cabins that they need.

Where is the closest hospital?

The closest hospital is Adventist Health in Sonora.
